Following the deployment of or significant change to an SAP landscape, a carefully considered and universally agreed release cycle must be implemented. The cycle must allow for the controlled introduction and testing of SAP Support and Enhancement Packagess while allowing sufficient flexibility for the introduction of bespoke updates and enhancements. Although the business would like complete flexibility when introducing application updates, the support teams require control over the change process. This paper examines the options available and provides some recommendations
